"Aiki is not a technique to fight with or defeat an enemy. It is the way to reconcile the world and make human beings one family."

Morihei Ueshiba - Founder of Aikido

Aikido is a martial art that differs from others by eliminating any form of competition, and transforming attack and defense techniques into movements of reconciliation and engagement between practitioners.

With ancient techniques of movement, contact, and breath, we forge our physical, emotional, and spiritual layers.

Our study lineage doesn’t approach self-defense. It is about how to unwind reactive patterns, in order to achieve a new form of personal positioning and a healthier engagement with oneself and others. This promotes a new kind of well-being and energy frequency, resonating in our relationships and the environment we are living in.

The development of each practitioner is personal and unique, training with a partner or a teacher is only a small part of the study. The true transformative process of Aikido becomes apparent when we recognize a significant personal change in our quality of daily life.

QIGONG

Xing Shen Zhuang

Qi (vital energy), Gong (work), and the Xing (posture) Shen (mind) Zhuang (breath) style, briefly means: working the vital energy in the body by integrating posture forms with the mind and breath.

It is a healthy practice that does not generate stress or excessive strain on the body. It can be performed by anyone, anywhere, regardless of age and physical condition.

Furthermore, it can be considered a powerful tool for self-healing, as each person is doing it for themselves, structuring themselves completely within the limits of their own body.

It is a deep research to relearn about the roots of the human body architecture.

"The space of the dojo is just an empty room but there is a frame around it and when we walk into the dojo, we walk into that frame and there are some things in that frame that help us experience something. "

Jan Nevelius Shihan

The Dojo is an ongoing creation of a joyful and safe atmosphere. The presence of each individual who enters the Dojo, whether a student, instructor, visitor, or spectator, are part of its composition.

It is a sacred space for the study of human beings. It can be composed of various elements, but its manifestation is more important than its physical space.

The Dojo comes to life when one or more people engage in Keiko (reflection training on ancient ways) and Shugyo (a period of concentrated and deep study) as a refining process of humans and life itself.

My Path with Aikido

I graduated as an architect and practiced this profession for many years. In 2013, I began my journey in Aikido, which became my true architecture and continues to shape, reform, and transform me each day.

In 2019, I was given the opportunity to teach Aikido, when I was dedicating myself to my black belt exam, which gave me another layer of learning. It was like opening a new blank page.

Since then, with every encounter, I learn something new, whether as a student, training partner, or instructor. It is my constant research process.

It is an honor to live Aikido, which, besides becoming what I am, it is my everyday practice.

It is an Art about Life, and it is available to Everyone! I invite you to experience it and discover what it moves within you!
